It is now possible to play some Steam titles on your Xbox thanks to the latest GeForce Now update

Thanks to the latest GeForce Now update, it's now possible to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DOTA 2, and more on your Xbox.

For those unfamiliar with GeForce Now, it's NVIDIA's cloud-based game streaming service that delivers real-time gameplay straight from the cloud to your laptop, desktop, Mac, SHIELD TV, and Android device.

Also, today Nvidia has released an update where it is now possible to enjoy GeForce Now through the Microsoft Edge browser, which means that Xbox users will be able to enjoy some PC games on their console.

This information was shared by Tom Warren , editor of The Verge, who mentions that with the basic service of GeForce Now, which is free, you can enjoy games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DOTA 2 and League of Legends at 1080p during a one-hour session .

Here's a little quiz Tom took where he got to try Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on his Xbox.
